PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of transforming easily from a YIQ color space into another color space, or from another color space into the YIQ color space by using a direct map color transformation method. SOLUTION: When color space data represented in positive numbers are converted into color space data represented in negative numbers, at first, an offset value of +128 is added in advance to the color space data that are originally represented in negative numbers on the table 1. Next, after conversion processing by using the table 1 which has been offset processed, data that are originally represented in negative numbers are generated by offset means 5 and 6 by adding an offset value of -128.
