WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system that can solve the conventional problem of a synergistically summed noise resulting in causing deterioration in S/N and in amplifying an in-band unnecessary wave, extend a speech area of a base station while keeping communication quality, prevent occurrence of an interruption time of communication in the area and realize a 1 to 1 sure speech. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system, a specific identification number is assigned to each of optical wireless repeaters 3-3-3 to 3-m-n, a central control unit 1 recognizes a traveling direction of a mobile unit 4 by an identification number included in incoming data received from base station units 2-2 to 2-m to instruct the base station units to select the optical wireless repeaters to transmit outgoing data, the wireless optical repeater that is resident in the end with respect to the base station unit connected thereto transmits outgoing data to the optical wireless repeater of the base station unit adjacent in the traveling direction of the mobile unit.
