METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STRETCHY CORD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a stretchy cord by winding metal wires around a core material of a round rod or flat-plate rod and thereover putting a pipe-shaped coating material made of such elastic material as silicone, etc., or thereover putting such elastic material as silicone instead of putting the coating material, and a method for manufacturing a stretchy cord by embedding a coil-shaped or zigzag-shaped metal wire in the inside of a rod-like core material during an extruding process. SOLUTION: A method wherein a metal wire is wound around the outsides of the round rod-shaped or flat-plate-shaped core materials 1, 1a made of such elastic material as silicone, etc., and then the coating materials 3, 3a are put over the core material 1; and a method wherein a cord is extruded while embedding a coil-shaped or a zigzag-shaped metal wire in the inside of a round rod- like or flat rectangular plate-like core material made of elastic material extruded by an extrusion molding means.
