Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a member for a surface light source and a light guide plate used therefor, capable of realizing the uniform and high-luminance surface light source for a large screen. SOLUTION: The member (A) for the surface light source is provided with the light guide plate (a1) for allowing light incident from a side end surface (a11) to be emitted from either (a13) of a surface and a backside and a lens sheet (a2) disposed on the side of the light-emitting surface (a13) of the plate (a1) and permitting the outgoing light to turn around in the direction of the normal to the surface (a13). Innumerable minute spherical concave grains (a10) are formed on the side of the surface (a13) of the plate (a1).
