Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starter capable of starting even an immobilizer- equipped vehicle, without a key. SOLUTION: This starter has an on-vehicle receiver 20 outputting pseudo signals IG', ST' on the basis of reception of an engine start command signal Q from a transmitter 10, and an adapter unit 30. The adaptor unit 30 has a changeover switch SW; a code learning control circuit 31b taking in a code and storing the code in an EEPROM 31a during a transmission period of the code to a vehicle side engine electronic control unit 8 from an antitheft electronic control part 5 on the basis of insertion of a key 3 into a key cylinder 4 when the switch SW is set to the learning side; a normally closed electromagnetic relay 31c breaking communication between the control part 5 and the unit 8 on the basis of the reception of the signal when the switch SW is selected to the output side; and a code output control circuit 31d receiving output of a communication permission signal TXCT from the unit 8 activated on the basis of the generation of the signal IG' and substitutionally outputting the code stored in the EEPROM 31a to the unit 8. |
