Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing for a railway rolling stock capable of dispensing with exchanging of a whole of the sliding bearing even when a thrust surface is worn and capable of restraining the thrust surface from being worn. SOLUTION: A wear resistant thrust plate 21 is detachably installed on the thrust surface 29. Even when the thrust plate 21 receives force from the rolling stock and is worn, therefore, the sliding bearing 20 can be reused by exchanging only the thrust plate 21 without exchanging the whole of the sliding bearing 20. A part which is not worn or a part of which degree of wear is low can be used again because the whole of the sliding bearing 20 is not required to be exchanged. Therefore, repairing cost can be reduced.
