METHOD FOR REPARING PUNCTURE HOLE OF TIRE TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing the puncture hole of a tire tube, capable of simply and rapidly performing the puncture repairing work of the tire tube in stable work quality without requiring special technique or skill. SOLUTION: The puncture hole repairing method includes a process for setting the punctured tire tube 2 on a support plate S so that the puncture hole of the tire tube is turned upwardly, a process for polishing the peripheral part of the puncture hole of the tire tube to apply primer treatment P thereto, a process for applying a thermosetting resin material 8 to the surface of the tire tube subjected to primer treatment so as to close the puncture hole by the resin material and a process for heating and pressing the applied thermosetting resin material 8 by a press mold D to mold a coating part, which has a predetermined shape for airtightly closing the puncture hole, on the surface of the tire tube to bond the same under pressure.
