TUBE CUTTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube cutting device miniaturized, inexpensive, efficient and easy to use. SOLUTION: The position of a plate 33 is set to a desired cutting length of the tube by turning an adjustment screw 3 of a cutting length setting unit 3. Five long tubes 8 are inserted parallel to each other in a tube guide part 2 along V-shaped grooves of guide plates 21 and 22, and advanced until the tubes are butted to the plate 33, and fixed by a fixing screw 23. When an air switch 56 is pressed, air is charged in an air cylinder 51, and an upper blade 42 is pressed downward to cut each tube 8 between the upper blade and a lower blade 41. The vertical motion of a piston in the air cylinder 51 is detected by a proximity switch 7 to display the number of the cut tubes by a counter display unit by the detection signal. When the desired number is obtained, chimes sound.
