Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shot peening device capable of automatically and efficiently carrying out a shot processing even at a narrow part and a complex surface shape part. SOLUTION: In the shot peening device, a pressurized air is injected from a nozzle head with a shot and the shot is collided onto a metal surface at thigh speed to carry out a peening processing. The device is provided with the nozzle head 1 in which a plurality of nozzle holes are opened on a side surface; a driving device 12 for axially moving the nozzle head 1; a driving device 13 for circumferentially turning the nozzle head; and support member 11 for supporting the nozzle head, the moving means and the rotating means. A side surface of the nozzle head 1 is opposed to a part to be processed in the state that the nozzle head 1 and the driving device 12 and 13 are supported by the support member 11 and the short peening processing is carried out by axially moving the nozzle head 1 while turning it.
