PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester ensuring both variable-speed and steering operations to be performed even in case the engine undergoes a low rate of revolutions. SOLUTION: This combine harvester has such a scheme that a reaping section is liftably connected to the front portion of a traveling machine body equipped with left and right traveling devices, there is provided a lift cylinder 6 for raising the reaping section following feeding pressure oil and allowing it to descend by the aid of its own weight following oil discharge, a plurality of transmission channels differing in transmission ratio from each other are interposedly set up on a transmission system for the traveling devices so as to be connected thereto in parallel to each other, a hydraulic clutch C is interposedly set up on each of the transmission channels, left and right steering clutches/brakes are interposedly set up on each of the transmission portion for the traveling devices on the transmission downstream side compared to that with a plurality of the transmission channels are connected thereto in parallel, there are provided left and right steering cylinders 23 for first letting the clutch section of the steering clutches/brakes off following feeding pressure oil and then subjecting the brake section to braking actuation, and the discharged oil from a lift valve 47 operating the lift cylinder 6 is fed to the steering cylinders 23.
