REGENERATIVE COMBUSTION DEVICE AND COMBUSTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative combustion device and a combustion method capable of preventing sudden pressure fluctuations so as to prevent the yield loss of steel lumber due to the intrusion of outside air and moreover preventing the life of a radiant tube or radiant box from being shortened. SOLUTION: In a regenerative combustion device allowing a main burner having a heat reservoir 7 to perform alternate combustion by a four-way diverter 8, the regenerative combustion device is provided with the first piping 10 connected with the atmospheric discharge opening 8b of the four-way diverter, the second piping 11 connected with the first piping, an atmospheric suction valve 13 connected with the second piping on one side of the joint of the first piping and the second piping and an exhaust gas blower 9 connected with the second piping on the other side. A combustion method avoids the air intake from the four-way diverter side by causing the atmospheric suction valve to be fully opened at the time of switching combustion so as to allow the atmosphere to be sucked into the exhaust gas blower.
