TURBID WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbid water treatment apparatus which treats only turbid water in a concentration higher than the maximum concentration generated before development, to thereby effectively alleviate the influence of the turbidity to the environment. SOLUTION: In a treatment pond 1 having an inflow channel 2, an inflow gate 3, an outflow channel 4, and an outflow gate 5, a diverting port 6 communicating with the inflow channel 2 is formed at an upstream location of the inflow gate 3, and a confluent port 7 communicating with the outflow channel 4 is formed at a downstream location of the outflow gate 5. Thus, the treatment pond 1 has a bypass channel 8 formed by connecting the diverting port 6 and the confluent port 7 together, and a bypass gate 9 for allowing the diverting port 6 to divert the turbid water through the bypass channel 8. Then, the turbidity in the inflow channel 2 is measured by a turbidimeter 10, and the inflow gate 3 and the bypassing gate 9 are controlled to be opened and closed based on a measured value. Further, the turbidity in the treatment pond 1 is measured by a turbidimeter 11, and the outflow gate 5 is controlled to be opened and closed based on a measured value.
