Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin for powder coatings which allows baking at a low temperature, is flexible enough to yield a coated film with an excellent appearance and has a good blocking resistance, a composition and a powder coating using the same. SOLUTION: The polyester resin has an intrinsic viscosity of from 0.10 to 0.30 dl/g and an acid value of from 30 to 85 mgKOH/g and essentially comprises an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, ethylene glycol and neopentyl glycol. The polyester resin contains a 4-12C linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid A and/or a 3-12C linear aliphatic glycol B, a carboxylic acid compound C having a functionality of >=3 and a spiroglycol as copolymer components, and has a melt viscosity at 150 deg.C of from 100 to 800 dPa.s.
