Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reusable plunger protection device capable of protecting a plunger end part, surely sealing a volatile rust-preventive agent to be sealed inside, and surely recovering operating fluid left inside. SOLUTION: This plunger protection device comprises a protection vessel 40 attached to an opening part in the lower end of a cylinder unit positioned in an upper part and a protection cover body 20 attached to the opening part in the upper end of a cylinder unit positioned in the lower part. The protection lid body is so formed as to close the upper part opening part of the protection vessel and can be assembled by a male screw 43 erected in the center of the bottom face of the protection vessel and a female screw 25 in the center of a support flange part suspended from the protection cover body.
