ERASING AGENT ERASING COMPOSITION FOR PRESSURE SENSITIVE PAPER (R)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erasing method, by which a portion to be erased due to some reasons or stains of reproduced characters or the like in slips, forms or the like is returned to its ground texture with no unbelongingness by applying with an erasing composition utilizing a surface active agent. SOLUTION: A crystal violet lacton(CVL) and a fluoran as a developer develop color through the acid cleavage of a lacton ring. A benzoyl leuco methylene blue(BLMB) develops color through the acidic hydrolysis of a benzoyl group. By applying a solution, which is prepare by dissolving 1% or more of an non- ionic or an anionic surfactant in water, an alcohol, an ester and a ketone-based aromatic organic solvent to the above color developed portion, the portion can be decolorized so as to be returned to its ground texture with no unbelongingness through adsorption, dispersion and neutralization.
