PACKET FLUCTUATION ABSORBING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet fluctuation absorbing method and device that can suppress data from being rapidly changed at reproduction so as to prevent the quality from being deteriorated. SOLUTION: A value larger than zero is preset to a buffer as its lower limit threshold. When a packet is read and outputted from the buffer and the packet quantity in the buffer is less than the lower limit threshold, in the case that number of use times of the outputted packet exceeds a prescribed value, the packet is aborted from the buffer so as to delay an interval until the buffer is idle through the use of each packet for the output by a prescribed number of times and to suppress a rapid change in data at reproduction.
