SELF-COLOR FORMING PHOTOSENSITIVE AND PRESSURE SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-color forming photosensitive and pressure sensitive recording material independent of a humidity change of the storage environment in the storage of the raw sensitive material and capable of ensuing always constant characteristics with respect to photographic characteristics such as photosensitivity, gradation, maximum density and fog density even when it is stored under any humidity condition and to provide a method for producing the recording material and an image forming method for the recording material. SOLUTION: In the self-color forming photosensitive and pressure sensitive recording material obtained by disposing a protective layer on a self-color forming photosensitive and pressure sensitive recording layer with photosensitive microcapsules housing a dye precursor, a photoinitiator and a polymerizable compound, a developer and a binder in a monolayer or multilayer state on a base, at least one compound of formula (I), (II) or (III) is contained in the recording layer or the protective layer. In the dry image forming method, the recording material is imagewise exposed and pressure is applied to the whole recording material to imagewise break the microcapsules and to form a dye image.
