BRANCHING METAL FOR LAYING OF CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching metal for laying of cable which can simplify the metal fitting work for leading a cable to be laid, along a messenger wire into a building or the like and can ease the load on the messenger wire and pole. SOLUTION: A pair of chucking members 1a, 1b are arranged counterposed with each other, recessed grooves 5, 5 for holding cords or the like, for example, a messenger wire W, are formed on the plane counterposing one end portion of these chucking members 1a, 1b a recess and a projection 8, which are engaged with each other are formed to the plane counterposed to the other end portion, a bolt hole 2 crossing both chucking members 1a, 1b is provided at the intermediate portion, with both chucking members 1a, 1b being tightened in the opposing direction with the bolt 3 inserted to the bolt hole 2 and a nut 4, and moreover, a coupling portion 3a for a lead wire retaining tool D is provided at the head portion of the bolt 3 and the other cords, such as a grounding wire w, is freely tightened to a part of the chucking members 1a, 1b.
