Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device for data communication that uses one optical fiber to attain full-duplex communication. SOLUTION: The interface system for data communication is provided with the one optical fiber 211, a wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer 203 that is connected to the optical fiber 211 and multiplexes/demultiplexes lights with plural wavelengths, optical transmitters 207, 201 and optical receivers 202, 208 respectively connected to the wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer 203 to realize full-duplex communication by using the one optical fiber 211 through the use of wavelength λ1, λ2 different from each other for transmission reception. For example, a thin film branching filter, a fiber type WDM demultiplexer or a prism can be adopted for the wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer.
