DISK DRIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently confirm the surface of a disk mounted on a device using a disk, and to provide a window for confirming the disk even when a laser beam with which the disk is irradiated is intense. SOLUTION: A window part 151 is arranged so as to be adjacent to a disk 10 mounted on a disk mounting part, and light sources 161 and 162 for illuminating the surface of the disk positioned near the window part are arranged, and the light emission of the light sources is intermittently operated synchronously with the rotation of the disk. Also, an optical pickup 130 is arranged so as to be adjacent to one face of the disk 10 mounted on the disk mounting part, and the window part 151 is arranged so as to be adjacent to a part of the other face. The window part is formed of materials for attenuating the laser beam irradiated from the optical pickup, and laser beam preventing members 155 and 156 for preventing the leaser beam irradiated from the optical pickup from reaching the window part are arranged in the surrounding of the window part.
