QUALITY INSPECTION METHOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR ENDLESS METALLIC BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a judgment of quality by measuring the original nature of the quality pertaining to the durability of an endless metallic belt. SOLUTION: In the quality inspection method of an endless metallic belt, a plurality of elements in which a protruded part is formed on each one surface across the thickness thereof while a recessed part so shaped to be fitted into the protruded part on the other surface is arrayed in a ring facing each other across the thickness thereof while being bound with a metal strip piercing the elements, the endless metallic belt is kept looped on a sheave and the interval between the elements at a location where it is looped on the sheave is measured to judge the propriety of the quality of the endless metallic belt based on the resulting measured value.
