Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the position to be irradiated by multibeam laser beam. SOLUTION: In an operational amplifier 41a, an electrical signal which is detected by a light-receiving surface 30a which is provided in a photodetector 20a is received by an inverted input terminal, an electrical signal which is detected by a light-receiving surface 30b is received by a noninverted input terminal, and a tracking error signal TE1 is generated. In an operational amplifier 41b, an electrical signal, which is detected by a light-receiving surface 30c provided in a photodetector 20d, is received by the noninverted input terminal, an electrical signal which is detected by a light-receiving surface 30d is received by the inverted input terminal and a tracking error signal TE2 is generated. In a phase error detecting circuit 42, a voltage signal for synchronizing the phase of the tracking error signal TE1 with the phase of the tracking error signal TE2 is generated and is fed to a driver 43, and a drive voltage is applied to a micromotor 40 incorporated in a rotating plate 11. The rotating plate 11 is rotationally driven by the micromotor 40, in response to the drive voltage applied by the driver 43, and the location of an optical head array 10 is adjusted.
