MECHANICAL TYPE PLANE PARKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten waiting time for the entering and leaving of a car, and to improve parking efficiency. SOLUTION: In a parking device 1, which is installed between a car entering road A and a car leaving road B and in which the positions of parking are aligned crosswise and determined, a plurality of movable trucks 11-23, which can be made to travel previously by their own force in the longitudinal direction or the lateral direction for transporting cars, can be made to travel along a plurality of crosswise laid traveling rails 2A-2H, and the car entering from the car entering road A is placed on either of movable trucks 11-14 brought into contact with the car entering road A and moved in a puzzle type to the proper position of parking, and the required movable truck is moved in the puzzle type up to the positions of parking P13-P16 brought into contact with the car leaving road B in the case of leaving.
