Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printer and a printer head in which the chip area can be prevented from increasing even if the number of ink ejection mechanisms constituting one group is increased when they are applied to an ink jet line printer and the ink ejection mechanisms are driven in group. SOLUTION: A signal generating circuit 50A, 50B, 50C generating a timing signal for driving is provided for each group.
