Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the forming precision of a gear side faces W3aL, W3aR of both sides of an internal gear W3a so as to precisely form the internal gear W3a, in a forming method for the internal gear W3a that the tooth profile 23a of the outer periphery of a mandrel 23 to the inner periphery of a work is transferred by externally setting a cylindrical work W3a' on the mandrel 23 and axially ironing the outer periphery of the work by the roller 6 for spinning while rotating the work together with the mandrel. SOLUTION: Ironing with a roller 6 is carried out at least two times while changing the rotary direction of the work W3a'. The forming precision of the right side tooth side face W3aR is secured by ironing in a state that the work W3a' is rotated counterclockwise.
