Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for staking which is simple, inexpensive, and able to maintain high quality. SOLUTION: An electro-magnetic valve 2 having a groove portion 2b in the outer circumferential portion is installed in a bent 1b formed in a housing 1, a part of the housing is plastically deformed by caulking the part of housing, and filling material constituted with the housing is caused to intrude in the groove, thereby fixes the part to the housing. In this method for caulking, a counterflexure point of a characteristic curve which designates the relation between an amount of punch stroke in caulking the housing and a punch load for caulking, is detected, and this counterflexure point is assumed as a bench mark, thereby controls the amount of filling material filled in the groove. For example, constant sizing where the amount of punch stroke is maintained constant from the counterflexure point, is performed.
