SOLUTION: In the structure of the side portion of the curtain box or the like in which a side portion material 1b or 31b is positioned so as to overlap to a side portion of a box frame body 1a or 31a of the curtain box or the like which has downward opening, the side portion material 1b or 31b includes an overlapping portion engaged on the outside of the side portion of the box frame body 1a or 31a, and an extending portion 19 or 49 at least extending integrally upwardly from the overlapping portion, and at a side surface position of either the overlapping portion or the extending portion of the side portion material 1b or 32b, an edge of a horizontal ceiling board 26 is positioned so as to abut thereon.
