SOLUTION: A propulsion system is designed for a system of a hybrid vehicle 10 utilizing a first torque route from a coupled motor generator system and internal combustion engine 16, and a manual transmission capable of automatically shifting having a second torque route from a second torque source to wheels. This system includes a highly efficient manual transmission provided with smoothness of most advanced automatic transmission by using the second torque route to maintain a torque at a level desired by a driver during shifting. This system can also shift gears without disengaging a clutch by a force control of a shifting actuator and an active synchronization of a connected input shaft revolution speed. Accordingly, engagement and disengagement are done without uncomfortable torque vibration and quick and smooth shifting is performed. |
