Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking agent heater which allows the sure and gentle initiation of combustion by ignition, is capable of sufficiently and safely heating a smoking agent and is further excellent in stability with lapse of time. SOLUTION: The smoking agent heater 1 is packed with a combustible heating agent 16 into an incombustible container 17 in contact with the smoking agent 21 and an ignition agent 11 partly exposed outside comes into contact with a firing agent 13 in contact with the heating agent 16. The ignition point of the firing agent 13 is 300 to 550 deg.C and the combustion heat of the heating agent 16 is 200 to 600 cal/g.
