Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing spherical ultrafine powder of crystalline barium titanate having a small particle diameter. SOLUTION: A sol precursor prepared using a partial acyloxy-titanium alkoxide and a barium compound is spayed on a strong alkali solution to cause coprecipitation and barium titanate powder is crystallized from the resulting precipitate-containing solution and refined in a washing step to produce the objective crystalline barium titanate powder.
