SOLUTION: A moving body 9 is provided for moving the worm 71 interlocked with the rotation of a steering assist motor 6, toward the worm wheel 72, and a limiting part is provided for limiting the separating movement of the worm 71 from the worm wheel caused by the inverse input load.
