VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily usable vacuum cleaner easily removing dust in the verge of a wall and the corner of a room, having a wiping function, and allowing easy maintenance. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a cleaner main body 1, which has a dust collecting chamber 4 and houses an electric blower 2, and a suction apparatus 7 provided with a suction port 13 on the lower face and communicated with the cleaner main body 1. The suction apparatus 7 is provided with rotationally driven disc-shaped brushes 19 arranged on both sides of the suction port 13 on the lower face front part side. The disc-shaped brush 19 is constructed of a shaft part 20 inserted into the suction apparatus 7 removably so as to be driven by means of an electric motor 25, a floor contact part 21 formed of a disc member formed of fabric/rubber, and an auxiliary part 22 fixing the floor contact part 21 to the shaft part 20.
