Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply which improves a circuit power factor and restrains a high frequency current by using a small number of components and simple circuit configuration, and can cope with an input voltage over a wide range. SOLUTION: This switching power supply comprises a first and a second inductance elements. The first inductance element is equipped with a first and a second capacitors which are connected in series and constitute a filter capacitor, a switching element connecting a common connection point of the first and the second capacitors with an input end of an AC power source, a high frequency AC voltage source generating a high frequency AC voltage, a first inductance element provided with a first terminal 1 connected with a positive output of a rectifier circuit, a second terminal 2 connected with a positive pole of the first capacitor via a diode D5, and a third terminal 3 connected with the high frequency AC voltage source via a diode D6. The second inductance element is provided with a first terminal 1 connected with a negative output of the rectifier circuit, a second terminal 2 connected with a negative pole of the second capacitor via a diode 7, and a third terminal 3 connected with the high frequency AC voltage source via a diode D8.
