ELECTROOPTICAL DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device having stable display characteristics and to provide an electronic equipment using this device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device 200 has a counter substrate 20 having a counter electrode 21, a TFT array substrate 10, and a liquid crystal layer 50 held between the substrates. The counter electrode 21 is electrically connected through a conducting pad 120 and a conductive material 112 formed on the TFT arrays substrate 10. The conducting material 112 consists of resin 111 and conductive particles 110 dispersed in the resin. Before the TFT array substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20 are laminated, the conductive particles 110 have a diameter larger by 0.2 to 0.8 μm than the distance between the counter substrate 21 and the conductive pad 120 when the liquid crystal device 200 is manufactured.
