ELECTRO-OPTICAL PROBE AND MAGNETO-OPTICAL PROBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical probe capable of measuring a spatial electric field as it is without disturbing the electric field. SOLUTION: The electro-optical probe comprises a laser diode 9 for radiating a laser beam in accordance with a control signal from a measuring equipment body, an electro-optical element 2 having a reflecting film 2a on the end face, an isolator 14 provided between the diode 9 and the electro-optical element 2 for passing the laser beam radiated by the laser diode 9 and separating a reflected light formed by the laser beam reflected by the reflecting film 2a, two photodiodes 12, 13 for converting the reflected light separated by the isolator 14 into electric signals and a glass plate 1b used for protecting the electro- optical element 2.
