APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING BIODEGRADABLE FOAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an apparatus for manufacturing capable of manufacturing a foam containing a carbohydrate such as a starch and the like as a main body in an industrial or commercial production pace. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a biodegradable foam containing the starch as a raw material comprises a screw 2 in a cylinder 1 for connecting a raw material inlet 4 to a foam discharge port 5, a water pouring part 3 provided at the cylinder 1 in such a manner that the screw 2 is sequentially formed with a steam generator 7 corresponding to the part 3 of the cylinder 1, a raw material heater 8 at an upstream of the generator 7, a steam diffusing part 9 at a downstream of the generator 7 and a foam generating part 10 and a slidably contacting ring 6 provided at the screw 2 to thermally partition the heater 8, the generator 7, the part 9 and the part 10 from each other.
