Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform tapping work by improving workability of tapping work, and to reduce work costs by shortening the working time. SOLUTION: This tap supporting jig is constituted of a sleeve 11 having a through hole 11b to be fitted with a handle part 33, a handle 12 extending from the sleeve 11, and a lower bush 14 set on a shaft part 32 so as to prevent a tap 30 fitted in the through hole 11b from slipping off. When tapping work is performed, the handle 12 extending from the sleeve 11 is gripped, for example, the tap 30 is positioned on a prepared hole W1 of a workpiece W, and the head part 31 of the tap 30 is rotated by an electric screwdriver 42.
