Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for providing inexpensively and on a large scale heparitinase T-IV in a pure form by elucidating the whole structure of the gene encoding heparitinase T-IV of Basillus circulans strain HpT298, followed by the genetic engineering technique. SOLUTION: This method comprises the steps of determining a partial amino acid sequence of purified heparitinase T-IV derived from Bacillus circulans strain HpT298, and screening a DNA library obtained from genomic DNA fragments obtained from the strain to obtain whole-length heparitinase T-IV gene.
