Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for manufacturing a direct-to-plate flexographic printing plate precursor which can be developed without using an aqueous or organic processing liquid and a method for manufacturing the direct-to-plate flexographic printing plate precursor. SOLUTION: The direct-to-plate flexographic printing plate precursor which includes a pliable base, a photopolymerizable layer containing an elastic bond, an image recording layer containing a thermoplastic binder and a cover layer in some cases in the mentioned order, allows the liquefaction of the image recording layer and the photopolymerizable layer and allows the penetration of a ball-point probe of 3 mm in diameter exerted with force of 0.1 N into these layers down to a depth of at least 5% at 110 deg.C is disclosed. Furthermore, the method for manufacturing the direct-to-plate flexographic printing plate precursor is provided.
