Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sudden change in gear ratio by the change in the traveling condition during the temporary interruption during a mode-switching operation, in restarting the feedback control of a gear ratio which is temporarily interrupted during the mode-switching operation. SOLUTION: A gear ratio is fixed in a mode-switching point M during the switching from a low mode LF to a high mode HF. A traveling state k at the start of the mode switching is shifted to a traveling state m, with an increased car speed by the dispersion of the traveling resistance. The condition m is not changed at one stoke to a target condition o in the termination of the mode switching but is changed, while spending a prescribed time. The gear ratio and an engine speed are changed gradually and smoothly.
