Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brass forging product excellent in corrosion resistance without long-term annealing. SOLUTION: This brass forging product excellent in corrosion resistance is produced through a first process in which a brass material having an apparent Zn content of 37-46 wt.% and an Sn content of 0.5-7.0 wt.%, is prepared, a second process in which this brass material is heated and thereafter is subjected to warm or hot forging, and a third process in which the corrosion resistance after cooling is by controlling the cooling rate after the warm or hot forging. Therefore, a conventional long-term annealing for a single phase, is not required.
