Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having excellent vibration-proof characteristic and durability. SOLUTION: This actuator 1 comprises an AC servo motor 2 having a rotation output shaft, a reduction gear 3 which is coupled with one end of the rotation output shaft of the AC servo motor 2, an output lever 6 which is swiveled with an output shaft of the reduction gear 3 and a rotating position sensor 7 which is provided at the other end side of the rotating output shaft to detect the rotating position of the rotation output shaft. Moreover, the actuator 1 is also provided with a non-contact type position sensor 8 which changes the rotating position sensor 7 to a brushless resolver type sensor, controls drive of the AC servo motor 2 based on detection by the rotating position sensor 7 and detects swiveling position of the output lever 6 to control rotation of the AC servo motor 2 based on detection by the position sensor 8.
