Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for accurately providing caller identification information to a called party. SOLUTION: When a call is transferred to the called party, the called party receives caller's information and does not receive information from an intermediate station. Thereby the caller is specified by the called party even when the call is transferred. The method has a step for providing caller specification information for specifying the original caller to an exchange for giving service to a transferred station when the call is transferred and a step for transmitting data to the transferred station on the basis of the provided caller specification information.
