PORTABLE WIRELESS UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless unit that brings a radiation pattern of an antenna to a pattern that is not susceptible to the effect of a human body when the flip of the portable wireless unit is open. SOLUTION: The portable wireless unit is provided with an antenna that transmits or receives a radio wave with a prescribed frequency, a metallic case acting like a ground plate of the antenna, the flip that is provide turnably to a resin case covering the metallic case, the flip that is fixed at a prescribed angle with the resin case when the flip is open, a conductive sheet that is placed on the side of the flip taking the abovementioned a prescribed included angle and electronic components having lead wires that are placed on the side opposed to the side on which the sheet is placed. The electric length between the sheet and the lead wires is selected to be λ/4, where λ is the wavelength of the radio wave.
