MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SHADOW MASK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a shadow mask in which the mask portion can be welded in a mask frame by a uniform welding current. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, a bearing portion 413 is installed at the guide block 412b of the direct coupled guide 412 which is moved upward and downward direction (Q direction) by an air cylinder 427. At one end of the electrode shaft 414 which is supported by the bearing portion 413, a pinion 425 is installed through a one-way clutch 424 and the pinion 425 is engaged with a rack 426 which is fixed by the substrate 411. At the other end of the electrode shaft 414, a roller electrode 415 is attached, and a contact terminal 416 is pressed by a compression coil spring 417 on the side face of the roller electrode 415, and the contact terminal 416 contacts with the side face of the roller electrode 415 in plane state. By pressing the mask portion on the mask frame by the roller electrode 415, and by feeding the welding current from the power source cord 418 which is connected with the contact terminal 416, the welding is made.
