Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound data processor which facilitates function extension of a device. SOLUTION: The sound data processor is provided with a connection terminal 131 for connection to an external connection terminal of an Internet STB, a ROM 132 where a processing program, GUI data, etc., for control of the operation of a pack 130 are stored, a RAM 133 where MP3 data is stored, and an MP3 decoder 135 which performs expansion processing of MP3 data to obtain right and left sound data R and L. The pack 130 is connected to the STB and is used. MP3 data supplied from the STB to the terminal 131 is temporarily stored in the RAM 133 and then is supplied to the MP3 decoder 135 and is subjected to expansion processing to obtain output sound signals AL and AR. Thus a processing function of MP3 data is added to the STB. A CPU of the STB loads the processing program, etc., from the ROM 132 to control the operation of the pack 130.
