Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet embedded in a wall, which can be arranged in the wall without notching a part of a ground sill or a foundation. SOLUTION: In installation of the faucet embedded in the wall, a pipe is inserted from an underfloor space or a space under a roof via an opening formed in a floor or in a ceiling into a room, and then inserted from the interior of the room via a wall opening formed in the wall into a space behind the wall. Then, a faucet fitting is connected to an end of the pipe, and a faucet main body of the faucet fitting is embedded in the wall. Further, at least a spout portion and a flow rate adjusting means of the faucet fitting are arranged on the wall surface. Still further, a section of the pipe exposed to the interior of the room from the opening to the wall opening is covered with a protective cover.
