PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an interesting property by expanding the degree of freedom of operation of a player and make a device smaller than a conventional one. SOLUTION: The dance game device is equipped with a voice/image output section 12 designed to output music to be played from a speaker 28 and guide extension of the right and left hands in a display face 241 of a monitor 24, a first upper detection section 14 detecting extension of the hand to an upper space and a first lower detection section 16 detecting extension of the hand to a lower space by a game player standing on the left side, a second upper detection section 14 detection extension of the hand to the upper space and a second lower detection section 16 detecting extension of the hand to the lower space by a player standing on the right side and a mat section 18.
