SOLUTION: This lithium secondary battery comprises; an electricity generating part made by layering negative electrodes 61 and positive electrodes 60 with separator films 62 interposed between them so that the negative electrodes 61 make no direct contact with the positive electrodes 60; a negative-electrode internal terminal block 67 connected to the negative electrodes 61 and positive- electrode internal terminal block 79 connected to the positive electrodes 60; and a battery case 63 for housing the generating part, Ethylene-propylene rubber 70 as an insulating material is disposed between the battery case 63 and at least one of the terminal blocks 67 and 79.
