DEVELOPING STATION FOR PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic brush type developing station by which soiling due to printing particle dust is prevented by effectively sealing the printing particle dust in a printing device. SOLUTION: This magnetic brush type developing station 10 is provided with a housing 12 incorporating a developing material reservoir, a mechanism to move the housing 12, a replenishing mechanism to replenish a reservoir with a developing material, plural augers 28 to mix the developing material and its driving mechanism, a developing roller 14 to carry the developing material, a measuring and scraping part 22 to control the quantity of the developing material and a magnetic seal combined with a scraping part at both end parts of the developing roller, and the measuring and scraping part 22 is arranged in parallel with the axial line of the developing roller 14 on an upstream side preceding a developing area 20 in the rotating direction of a shell, and the magnetic field of the magnetic seal is constituted so as to be sufficient to prevent the leakage of the developing material from the end part of the developing roller 14.
